About the Author
Marvyn Harrison is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant and the founder Dope Black Dads, a support group and podcast that works to challenge outdated stereotypes about Black fatherhood and cultivating a progressive, inclusive community of parents. Marvyn previously has had a long career in music and advertising, spending over a decade in the industry working with a variety of clients, from artists such as Ed Sheeran and Samsung to Manchester City Football Club. Rochelle Falconer was born in Jamaica but grew up in Birmingham, the oldest of six kids, raised by her single mum. Combining her early passion for writing and her love of drawing, Rochelle now spends her time creating characters she would love to see represented in picture books, and dreaming up their stories.
