Description
Mirabelle Takes Charge by Harriet Muncaster follows the endearing character, Mirabelle, who has a witch for a mum and a fairy for a dad, making her a delightful mix of both. Mirabelle is eager to acquire a brand-new pair of magical roller skates, but her parents insist that she must earn the money herself.
Earning money sounds challenging—what's she going to do to make it? Of course! She'll set up a business. But a business doing what?
She tries dog-walking, but things get a bit chaotic. And when the chaos includes the dogs' leads getting out of hand, that's not an ideal business model. Perhaps she needs something more stationary, like crafting and selling enchanted charm bracelets!
Can Mirabelle find success with her get-rich-quick schemes? Or will managing a business prove to be more trouble than it's worth?

About the Author
Harriet Muncaster is one of the fastest-rising stars in children's books. She started out writing and illustrating picture books, and won the Blue Hen Book Award for her first book, I Am a Witch's Cat, and was highly commended for the Macmillan Prize while studying for her second illustration degree. Her move into young illustrated fiction came with the launch of Isadora Moon in 2016 and the series has become a huge bestseller in the UK and internationally. Harriet is very active at events, festivals, and on social media, constantly creating and sharing new content and activities to delight Isadora's growing host of fans.
