Description
Mirabelle and the Naughty Bat Kittens by Harriet Muncaster introduces us to Mirabelle, whose mum is a witch and dad a fairy, making her a bit of both! Mirabelle and her class are thrilled about a school trip to a magical-creature sanctuary, and Mirabelle can hardly wait. Even being paired with the annoyingly perfect Lavinia can't dampen her spirits.
However, the day takes a turn when Mirabelle accidentally lets the bittens (part bat, part kitten, utterly adorable, yet slightly fierce) escape from their enclosure. Their day becomes a lot more complicated. Can Lavinia help Mirabelle stay out of trouble? And can Mirabelle show Lavinia that sometimes, perhaps, things are worth getting into trouble for...?

About the Author
Harriet Muncaster is one of the fastest-rising stars in children's books. She started out writing and illustrating picture books, and won the Blue Hen Book Award for her first book, I Am a Witch's Cat, and was highly commended for the Macmillan Prize while studying for her second illustration degree. Her move into young illustrated fiction came with the launch of Isadora Moon in 2016 and the series has become a huge bestseller in the UK and internationally. Harriet is very active at events, festivals, and on social media, constantly creating and sharing new content and activities to delight Isadora's growing host of fans.
