Inflection Vol. 13 explores the architectural detail, material condition, and intellectual construct. This volume investigates detail as a component of construction and an active agent capable of propagating ideas across scale and culture.

Contributions engage with labour, memory, and material expression, while also examining its capacity to amplify social and political conditions. The volume brings together a diverse group of international contributors across practice and academia, including Charlotte Malterre-Barthes, David Leech, Teresa Moller, Jeffrey Kipnis, Leopold Banchini, Ehrl Bielicky, Sabotage Practice, Studio Tngtetshiu, Cleo Valentine, and Magdalena Obmalko.

A curated photo essay features the work of Max Creasy, Rory Gardiner, Celeste Tellarini, Lachlan Balia, Maxine Delvaux, and Yaseera Moosa, interrogating the role of architectural representation and the heroic image.
