About the Author
Rachel spent 11 years studying and teaching philosophy at the universities of London and Oxford before joining Usborne. Since then she has written books on subjects ranging from knights, to food, to philosophy, as well as retelling folk stories, and writing children's versions of numerous novels. Since she was a child, Amy has always pestered anyone that'll listen with questions and random facts. After studying neuroscience at university, she joined Usborne to spread the joys of learning through books. When she's not reading or doodling, she enjoys playing video games and adventuring in new worlds.
