The World's Greatest First Love, Vol. 16 presents a captivating twist where a fresh start turns sour as a manga editor's new boss turns out to be his ill-fated first love!

When Ritsu Onodera changes jobs, searching for a fresh start, he's not exactly thrilled to discover that his new boss is actually his old flame. Determined to leave the past behind, Ritsu faces a challenge when his boss is equally determined that they have a future together.

Manga editor Ritsu Onodera believes that his high school friend Nao took care of him after he collapsed from exhaustion while working for Marukawa Publishing’s Emerald shojo magazine. However, he soon learns that it was actually Masamune Takano, his boss—and first love—who nursed him back to health.

Ritsu decides he's finally going to express his feelings to Takano, but first, he must explain to Nao, who has already confessed his own love for Ritsu, that they can no longer live together. Will Ritsu find the courage to go through with it and finally confess to Takano?
