See moreOriginal sketches, patterns and test shots, plus interviews with Hollywood designer William Travilla on Marilyn Monroe's most famous looks.
Marilyn Monroe wore some of the most iconic dresses in cinema history, and many of them were designed by one man - William Travilla.
Marilyn's Style focuses on the striking dresses that Travilla created for the silver screen legend, from the hot pink dress in which she brought down the house with 'Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend' in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes to the iconic white pleated dress from The Seven Year Itch that made fashion history.
Featuring Travilla's original sketches, rare costume test shots, dress patterns, stills and photographs of Marilyn wearing the dresses, plus exclusive and never-before-seen extracts from interviews with Travilla, this swoonworthy book offers a fresh insight into the golden age of Hollywood and one of the most famous actresses of all time.
Marking Marilyn's centenary, this breathtaking book features over 200 images of the Hollywood goddess and the clothes she wore.
