She has also written one book for adults: Wild Things: How We Learn to Read and What Can Happen If We Don’t.

She is passionate about literacy and access to stories, and travels across the world speaking with parents, teachers and librarians about how to engage struggling readers.
Chris Kennett has been drawing ever since he could hold a pencil (or so his mum says). But professionally, Chris has been creating quirky characters for just over 20 years. He's best known for drawing weird and wonderful creatures from the Star Wars universe, and his School of Monsters and Cross Bones series.
