See moreO'Connor introduces readers to the Queen of the gods and goddesses in the Pantheon. This volume tells the tales of the many heroes who sought and won Hera's patronage, most notably Hercules.
"The generation weaned on the Marvel Universe will find much to love in O'Connor's 12-book series." --New York Times
George O'Connor's vibrant, kinetic art brings ancient tales to life in the New York Times Bestselling series Olympians. This fusion of super-hero aesthetics and ancient Greek mythology is perfect for fans of Percy Jackson!
There is only one thing Zeus, King of the Gods, truly fears.
Not the many-headed Hydra. Not the towering Gigantes. Not even his powerful brother Poseidon, god of the sea. Monsters, Titans, and rival gods alike have all fallen before him.
But Zeus does fear one force in all of Olympus: his wife, Hera.
Hera, Goddess of the air, the sky, and the heavens, is as powerful as she is relentless. Patron of the cunning Jason and relentless adversary of the mighty Heracles, she stands as Zeus's equal--and in matters of wrath, perhaps his superior.
Where Zeus rules through thunder and authority, Hera rules through intelligence, vengeance, and unwavering will. In a world of gods and monsters, even the King of Olympus must tread carefully around the Queen.
