See moreChâteau Léoube invites you to step into one of the most stunning protected estates in Provence, nestled along the Mediterranean coastline. Join Carole Bamford, the renowned English organic farm founder and lifestyle visionary, as she shares the fascinating story behind the renovation of the chateau and the preservation of the land.
Carole Bamford shares the captivating tale of her restoration of the Château and the regeneration of its land and vineyards. The Léoube estate is situated on the idyllic Cap Bénat, a rocky peninsular on the Mediterranean coast, regarded as one of the most beautiful protected sites in Europe.
When Bamford and her husband discovered this 'sleeping beauty' over 20 years ago, they knew the property needed love, attention, and plenty of imagination. Beyond the tangled undergrowth and tired exteriors, the Bamfords glimpsed the potential of what the estate could become.
Working alongside the eminent architect Alain Reynaud, they embarked on restoring the buildings and converting the vineyards and olive groves to organic status. Experience the Château's breathtaking interiors, guest houses, and sublime gardens. The restoration extends down to the beach, featuring a charming restaurant, and onto the vineyards where some of the finest rosé wines in the world are now crafted.
