The story of Chanel and its founder, Coco Chanel, who rewrote the rules of fashion with her philosophy and forever changed the way women dress. Independent, revolutionary and bold. This is the story of a woman who rewrote the rules of fashion with her philosophy and her legendary maison Chanel. Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel forever changed the way women dress, move and perceive themselves. As a uniquely empowered female couturier, she created a timeless style, giving life to garments and accessories that are now among the most recognisable in our cultural landscape.

Chanel Philosophy is a visual exploration of Chanel's impact on womenswear, as well as the designer's innovative vision of accessories, bijoux, and jewellery, areas where she showed a level of daring far above that of any traditional jeweller at the time. Through archival materials, historical models and exclusive interviews, this book unveils the secrets of a luxury that is not only about exclusivity but also a practical and timeless elegance.

Following the successful Rolex Philosophy (ISBN 9781788842396) and Hermes Philosophy (ISBN 9781788843355) in the Luxury Philosophy series.
