See moreAustralia’s year in the rear view – in trivia form. Including over 3000 questions and just as many answers, from the country’s favourite quiz, the Weekly Fifty.
2026. It’s been an amazing year – we just wish it were longer, so we could spend more time searching ‘worst injuries winter olympics’ on YouTube, and sussing more emails between a New York financier and the Royal Family.
In the pages of this almanac you’ll find all the quizzes we could fit – the weekly stuff, the occasional stuff (World Cup Fifty! Movie Fifty! Book Fifty!), and lots of other goodies. There are thousands of questions covering news, pop culture, sport and PinkPantheress.
A Year in Quizzes: 2026 is a hardback book with illustrations (fancy). It’s the perfect stocking stuffer, boredom buster or argument starter for friends, family and other carbon-based lifeforms. Just remember, it’s not about how many you get right, it’s about how smug you feel.
‘Far more geared towards the Gen Zs and the Millennials than any weekly quiz you can find in a newspaper – and it’s Australian. The perfect activity for a weekend away with your mates or with family.’ Shameless

About the Author
The Weekly Fifty is Australia’s favourite quiz (at least until Karl Stefanovic starts his own). It’s fifty questions uploaded every Friday, and thousands of people on the internet do it whenever they have signal.
Paddy Carey writes the Weekly Fifty because someone beat him to writing Ulysses. He lives with his wife and phone in Narrm/Melbourne.
